The Schillig family started roasting coffee with a 12kg electric roaster in Locarno. Carlito Coffees quickly became popular with the city's hotels and restaurants. Today, the family roasting business takes on a new mission with its range of speciality coffees. Every pack of Carlito specialty coffee sold helps fund a social project in the Minas Gerais region of Brasil where their coffee is grown and harvested.
